The Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) in conjunction with the Center for Integrated Waste Management at the University at Buffalo will be presenting a training information session at EOC, located at 465 Washington St. in downtown Buffalo on Friday, December 12, 2008 from 9am to 12pm.
This is a tuition-free environmental restoration training opportunity provided to residents of Erie and Niagara counties through the support of the United States Environmental Protection Agency Brownfields Job Training Program ( in partnership with the cities of Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Lackawanna and Niagara county).
Previous graduates of this program are working as Asbestos/Lead Abatement workers, Environmental Quality Technicians,Construction Craft Workers and Remediation Project Monitors.
