Environmental Restoration Training Opportunity

If you have an interest in a career that involves the care and clean up of our environment, then take advantage of this opportunity. The Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) in conjunction with the Center for Integrated Waste Management at the University at Buffalo will be presenting a training information session at EOC, located at 465 Washington St. in downtown Buffalo on Friday, December 12, 2008 from 9am to 12pm.

This is a tuition-free environmental restoration training opportunity provided to residents of Erie and Niagara counties through the support of the United States Environmental Protection Agency Brownfields Job Training Program ( in partnership with the cities of Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Lackawanna and Niagara county).

Previous graduates of this program are working as Asbestos/Lead Abatement workers, Environmental Quality Technicians,Construction Craft Workers and Remediation Project Monitors.
